Biography
Born to parents serving in full-time ministry, I had the opportunity to live in several areas of the country growing up. Moving from Arkansas to Alabama and Florida, I am privileged to have friends who live all across the country. Upon graduation from a high school in a rural town in Alabama, I enrolled in college at Auburn University in Montgomery and later transferred to Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. While at SEU, I studied Psychology, Sacred Music and Theology and received my B.A. in Psychology in 1993. Since graduating, I have had the opportunity to use my training in all three areas to minister to people across the globe.Currently, I work the hardest job of my life as a wife and mother of 2 toddlers. In November 2004, after living single for 32 years, I began the journey called Marriage to the love of my life, Adam. After experiencing 5 miscarriages in 3 years, we now consider it a great honor that God entrusted the lives of our son (Adan – 4 yrs. old) and daughter (Carlyn – 2 yrs. old) to us. I cherish each moment I am able to spend with each of them daily.I am active in my church, where I serve as a worship leader and Single Moms’ Ministry Coordinator . In addition, I continue to have the privilege to minister to women and teens across the Southeast U.S. by speaking at Women’s and Youth Conferences, as well as music ministry in churches across the country both solo and with the female trio "Adoration" (www.adorationmusic.com).
